The Cacaveli Bluezone hosted the activities of the Climate Change Youth Conference 2017 (COJECC) on November 03rd and 04th.
As part of the Youth Conference on Climate Change (COJECC) 2017, which brings together every year the committed youth of the West African sub-region, the NGO Youth Green Togo organized a visit of the infrastructure of the Cacaveli Bluezone, Friday, November 3rd.
The youth enthusiastically discovered the energy production area of the Bluezone, made up of photovoltaic panels and the shelter housing the Lithium Metal Polymer (LMP) batteries of Bollore Group. The ecological nature of this environmentally respectful energy source appealed to the participants.
The day of Saturday, November 04th was devoted to talks and debates, followed by the restitution of the work of various workshops that focused on the 2030 agenda, climate and finance, disaster and risk reduction and food security.
