From February 20 to 27 2015, the teams in charge of renovating the rail network in Togo received training in the use of the new maintenance and rail track construction tools.
In all, twenty-three Togolese track technicians received hands-on training on the use of modern rail track maintenance equipment. Rail experts dispatched by Bolloré Group were on hand to dispense these invaluable new skills.
The training gave the local teams insights into leading-edge rail technologies. The teams drew maximum benefit from the week-long course where they also learned how to identify the critical points along the track in order to schedule their maintenance work.
These are the modern tools and technologies they will be using as Togo’s rail network undergoes a complete revival. New knowhow to benefit a nation.
