“The flight of Togo, land of our ancestors, in peace” was the theme of the opening held on the Cacaveli Bluezone, from 20th to 22nd April 2018.
The Messengers Association of the Peace Jars (AMJP) organized the official ceremony of launching its exhibition under the theme “The flight of Togo, land of our ancestors, in peace”, on Wednesday, April 18th, 2018.
Two artistic works created by the artist Espoir Fadu have been unveiled to the public: “the flight of Togo to Peace” and “Togo, land of our ancestors, in peace”. These works carry a message of peace. They were created in order to sensitize the Togolese population to the culture of peace and to live together.
The paintings, exhibited in the multipurpose room of the Bluezone from April 20th to 22nd, were put on sale. The funds raised following their sale will finance a research project on symbols and cultural values of peace and living together in the Togolese communities on the one hand and the creation of an artistic and cultural research center for peace and culture development in Togo on the other hand.
