October 2014

Discussions are still ongoing, but are expected to conclude in the coming weeks. In engaging in these discussions, the Bolloré Group hoped to involve the University of Lomé in several innovative projects launched in the Bluezone.

The focus was on the IT and electronics Centre of Excellence and the Higher School of Engineering (Ecole supérieure d’Ingénierie) in particular, both of which were able to offer their input for the first time with regard to the creation of projects in the Bluezone.

In exchange, the Bolloré Group agreed to offer work placements to a number of students during their studies, with the specific aim of helping them learn more about a technology that is completely new to Africa and Togo in particular: the innovative LMP battery technology developed by the Bolloré Group.
