More than 4,000 Togolese participated in the first International Book Fair of Lome (FI2L) on the Cacaveli Bluezone, from 10th to 13th November.
The Club “Le Littéraire” organized, with the support of Blueline Togo, the first edition of the International Book Fair of Lome (FI2L). Placed under the theme “book, instrument of culture”, this cultural event brought together the major actors of the literary scene including publishing houses, literary associations, as well as cultural institutes.
The International Book Fair of Lome has been a forum for meetings and exchanges privileged around the book, and have made it possible to better publicize the works of Togolese writers.
Several activities have punctuated this fair: discussion panels, conferences on digital, training workshops on access to digital libraries, author dedications, and literary talks.
Sheltered by the Cacaveli Bluezone, the International Book Fair of Lome saw the participation of 2,892 adults and 1,200 children.
