Hundreds of young pupils and students made use of the 2013-2014 school holidays to learn about crafts-based professions in the Cacavéli Bluezone.
This was an initiative by the Ministry of Basic Development, Crafts, Youth and Youth Employment, which selected the Cacavéli Bluezone as the venue for the 5th edition of this event, attended every year by young people.
Thus, the Cacavéli Bluezone was transformed into a huge crafts training workshop for 25 days. Young people were invited to learn more about the creation of decorative crafts objects and shoemaking, cosmetics and beauty and jewellery-making through practical experience. These initiatives offer those in attendance a taste of entrepreneurship in a positive spirit of collaboration. Each attendee left the event with his or her own original creation.
